Certainly! In fact nearly half of the entries we have received so far come from countries outside the UK. But entries must be written in English.

I came across this contest somewhere online, and my heart sank as I realised what it must mean for Michael to have a contest named after him. I never met Michael, but I had some wonderful email exchanges with him over the years, and I know he did great work for Croydon Writers. I’m very sorry for your loss.

Thanks, Andrew – we have missed him badly. You might want to see the tribute issue we produced about him – https://croydonwriters.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/croydon-writers-tribute-issue-december-2024.pdf
